Smith co-authored, with Andrew Demirjian and A.E. Souzis, the chapter “A Year of Collectives” in the art catalog retrospective Open Source Gallery 2007-2017. The chapter explores the themes that emerged from interviews with artist collectives that exhibited work in the 2016 Year of Collectives series at the Open Source Gallery in Brooklyn, New York.
